Flow Cells

Flow Cell Technology

At CPS Fluidics, we develop, engineer, and manufacture a broad range of flow cell devices and technology for the life sciences, industrial, medical, and analytical instrumentation markets. Flow cells measure a wide range of physical, chemical, or biological properties. Selective detection is utilized to meet your specific needs.

Our team and manufacturing facility are fully equipped to assess your unique needs, and create a range of customizable flow cell technologies for any application, using various materials — including glass, plastic, PDMS, silicone and adhesive. We offer industry leading cost for glass-on-glass bonding. This process eliminates the use of adhesives/glues and creates a high-strength invisible bond with high quality optical properties for your glass slides or flow cells. We can bond glass in various size formats ranging from a few millimeters up to 300mm wafers.

Additionally, our manufacturing line is capable of chemical processes to both clean and functionalize products to fit your application needs. CPS Fluidics has the facilities, know-how, and experience to design, prototype, and mass-produce the flow cell technology you need, whether your application involves components for OEM instruments, production tooling, or consumables.

What It Does

CPS Fluidics flow cells are opto-fluidic devices that enable the analysis of your samples while presenting fluids in a microfluidic channel.  To put simply, our flow cells provide a window to your sample and assay. Whether your sample is bound to a surface, needs to be bound, or will flow through the device, we have a solution for you. Our flow cell products are compatible with microscopic-imaging, fluorescent-imaging, or electrometric detections to meet your needs.

Depending on your application requirements, CPS Fluidics flow cells may feature a single channel or multiple channels, allowing you to test a customized number of samples at one time. Our flow cells are suitable for biotech, life sciences, and other scientific industries and are capable of becoming a key component of your most highly calibrated medical, analytical, biological, and industrial instruments. Developing a partnership with CPS Fluidics allows you to access our collaborative process and customize opto-fluidic devices to address the pain points in your current platform.
